Tahoe Chiropractic Clinic believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our provider participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. To learn more about our payment options for chiropractic and wellness care, you can call our office directly.
Patients with Health Insurance Coverage: Most insurance plans are accepted at our office, including Medicare. During your visit with us, we will do our best to verify your insurance coverage to see if chiropractic (and if necessary, out-of-network) care is covered and any limitations that exist. We will explain this to you, and then bill the insurance for the services provided. You are expected to pay your co-payment, co-insurance or any portion that your insurance doesn’t cover on the date of service.
Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no additional charge.
Medicare: Medicare and supplemental plans will approve to pay for chiropractic services after your deductible has been met, as long as they deem the adjustment “medically necessary” and as long as the visits do not pertain to maintenance care. They will not pay for other services such as consultations, examinations & therapies. Therefore, the patient is responsible for these charges.
Patients Paying Out of Pocket/Self-Pay Patients (no insurance): For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, we have awesome prepayment and monthly payment packages that our patients love. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable. Cash, card and check are all accepted; payment is expected at the time of service. In this case, we offer a date of service discount due to the reduced administrative cost and handling.
Patients with Personal Injury/Worker’s Compensation Claims: For patients under care related to an automobile accident, or injury while working, insurance will cover the cost of care in nearly all cases. We are required to bill your auto insurance (or the insurance of the driver of the vehicle in which you were riding) or your Worker’s Compensation insurance. We also work under lawyers liens in most cases.
Health on a Budget: At our clinic we're convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset - your health - will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. If you feel you do not have enough time or money to take care of yourself, please contact us! We would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously. As the old saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything.
